Spartan Nation Determination Scholarship
The Spartan Nation Determination Scholarship started in 2016, after the Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation accepted the honor of continuing Run with Carl. Run with Carl is a Labor Day road race that honors the life of PVHS student Carl Schillig, who passed away after a hit and run accident. This scholarship will honor a student who has shown determination in overcoming an obstacle during his or her time in the Pleasant Valley School District.
*Students do not apply, but are nominated by Administration/Counselors*
Criteria for Scholarship:
- Not willing to settle – committed to always wanting to do better
