Spartan Nation Band Scholarship
“Run with Carl” is a Labor Day road race that honors the life of PVHS student Carl Schillig, who passed away after a hit-and-run accident. The Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation accepted the honor of continuing the “Run with Carl” in the summer of 2015.
Proceeds from the Labor Day road race, Run with Carl, fund this scholarship. It is awarded to a senior member of the Pleasant Valley Spartan Band who has demonstrated leadership, spirit and dedication which positively impacts the band and the community at large.
